i wonder if ever before have so many been so clueless about so little. to the detractors, your fear lies within. Though it is not your fault it is within your power to rise above it. If you do what you have always done, you will continue to get what you've always got, i feel that i am only presently beginning to understand that on a personal level but the race is long and in the end it is only with oneself. Drop resentment, it will only leave you bitter. Your empathy will set you free.

This is what I want: organise a subsidised pass for all whites to leave SA and go back to a country or part of the world where things work and thugs are not protected by law... Once we are gone you can have the country to yourself... and do with it what you want.. and after some time when, like the rest of Africa everything is stuffed up, u can again have some or other public debate -- Like Malema, lm sure u will find some white or western country to to blame...

Bianc Fourie,You are a digrace to all woman, where did you learn your digacefull language,in one of our many harbours for that is the place Iv'e heard such gutter language form a female.Free speech does exist in this country,I too disagreedwith many of his statements. You must have grown up in a commune of some sort thence the filthy language you use.The men are also predisposed to use foul language, they do at leaves a word or two out,to
make their point, but you deerie are not so discreet .

@ BiancaFourie - I am utterly appalled at your blatant racism and will pray very hard for you!
"Arch" - Sir - you have my deepest admiration. For decades you've been the spokesperson for those totally lost in the quagmire of our deeply divided society.
Keep talking - on, and on, and on...we need to "reparate" - because we need to try to undo some of the horrendous harm of our past...

Shut the fuckup racist cunt ..your living in a reach church home where your safe...get out of your safety barrier and see how white south african's have to live in fear everyday ..and the majority of us arent that rich as you presume ..IDIOT :@

not a very good talker; maybe he is old but i can't finish watching this!
ok, the video carried on and at minute 15 he said all whites benefited from apartheid .... this is crap ... today SA is the most modern country in Africa, the blacks also benefited from the whites being here .... go and look at other african countries where there are less whites and see how bad things are going there

White tax: Making one race group poor will not solve anything. You need to uplift everyone. How can you make such IRRESPONSIBLE comments - we had enough of fueling racial hatred. SHAME ON YOU.

@alchiby The Germans, in contrast to white South Africans, show(ed) remorse for the Holocaust. Yes, the country moved on economically, etc., but up to this day Germans have a humility which stems from the realization that they were guilty of terrible things. (Unfortunately - but that is a different discussion) their guilt continues to the present, partly because of what happened, but also because of accusations from the rest of the world. And so they too continue to live with their legacy.

@mrscayenne2 You have as much spiritualism as the Spainish Inquisition, and strike me as a highly uneducated woman. You are the least likely person to offer love to others besides your own kind, and even less any respect. The only belief you have is in considering yourself important enough to lord your attitudes over the belief of others. Shame on you!
he is saying that both sides are in pain from the past, I dont disagree with what he is saying and hell, it is more articulate and better than someone like Julius Malema
at the center of his speech, as always, he focuses on compassion and highlighting that there is pain throughout humanity that we must recognise and overcome

Even here - where Tutu's words can be heard and seen in context and where it is clear that he isn't playing a blame game, but rather pleading for the continual healing of our collective wounds - there are still people who just doesn't seem to get it.
