wow--- this was cool. hard to believe it was made over 100 years ago. the owner of the shop was probably one of the oldest people (earliest-born) ever to be filmed.

How special effects have changed...this movie well over 100 years still managed to wow the veiwers with the only technology they knew...and movies were quite new in 1901....what a brilliant film..a real pleasure to watch.

I'm so sick of silent films, but yet they never cease to amaze me when they start getting into 1900 era when they actually had editing systems. it almost makes todays look foolish.
