Pea Hicks of Optiganally Yours demonstrates the Orchestron after the Museum of Making Music "Mellodrama" screening in San Diego 2010 www.optigan.com www.mellotronmovie.com
My Orchestron does not have spring reverb. My Orchestron also does not have the word 'Vako' anywhere on it, but rather "Technical Research Institute." It's a double-manual, and the case says 'Orchestron'....but says it nowhere else. My disks say 'Orchestron' (except for my proto-type Chilton disks). The question is: what machine do I even have??
Orchestrons, like Mellotrons, sound much better with a proper volume pedal in line to get good swells in volume and fade outs (with a good digital delay set up in stereo.
