  • the only thing I don't like about this song is the backup vocals part.... otherwise, it's one of my favorite songs right now!

  • I love Scott Porter's version of Someone to Fall Back On in BandSlam

  • The Pub Brothers did it better

  • <3 <3 <3 Scott Porter has a beautiful voice <3 <3 I LOVE YOU SCOTTIEEEEE!!!!!!!

  • @GrimReaper30 I don't know if it was based on actual events, but the competition is based on the South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX, where most of the movie was shot. Most of the bands in the contest, including the Glory Dogs, who are known as Joker, are from the Austin area, and were unsigned when the film was made.

  • @BigBob76331 I just the movie for the first time today. I work up early ans just happened to have the channel on. It was about 15 min. into the movie and just started watching it, In any case I got pulled it. So let me say this, WOW what great music.. The guy singing this song as one of the best voices I have ever heard. My favorite line that just moved me was "Dreaming of Oceans While Jumping in Puddles" Actually got a chill up my spine, and I cried thinking about when I was

    19 - 21.

  • @BigBob76331 Yes I know you wrote this comment 8 months ago, but do you know if the movie was based on actual events?

  • @therockacrossthepond I watched the credits after the movie. The song was credited to James Renald and Loren Gold, who was one of the music coordinators for the film
