Many Bible prophecy teachers and writers believe and teach that Israel becoming a nation in 1948 is a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The revival of the Hebrew language is often taught as a fulfillment of Zephaniah 3:9. Should the Bible be viewed through the lens of current events or should we rather view current events through the lens of the Bible?

"The Gary DeMar Show" is your 10 minutes of sanity each weekday. Gary DeMar serves your daily recommended allowance of rationality. This show is where you will hear about current events, pop culture, politics, religion, and bunches of other stuff examined through the lens of a biblical worldview.

  • The Israelites in Israel were placed there by British mandate if im not mistaken. The first question is are the the Jews being referred to? They don't fit any of the modern day prophesies. If anyone knows diffrent, please enlighten me.

  • @30santee yea keep waiting

  • The elect will be returned to the land gentiles and Israelites

  • What needs to be asked have they fufilled the curses proclaimed on the children of Israel for their disobedience outlined in scripture in deuteronomy 28 one of which is about them being taken captive into all nations, also that is mentioned in luke 21 by the messiah himself, the jews are keeping the talmud which is traditions and commandents of men. They are Khazarian gentiles who have taken the heritage of the true hebrews, its a fufillment of prophecy in revelations 2:9

  • @TheHellbinder 1 Thes 4:13-18 and 1 Cir 15:50-55 is the resurrection (rapture). That is established fact.

Rev 5:9 are those of Luke 21:28 and Luke 21:34-36 (US). In Rev 5:9 it is the REDEEMED from every kindred, tongue people and nation prior to 6:1.

Will you believe once the rapture happens? Rest assured you will see it with your own eyes!

  • @anitalc1 ok that is crazy... Jews are Jews and they are obvious.. Have you met many Jews? Have you been to Israel? (i have). this almost sonds like racist neo nazi propaganda. BUT... Gen 12 is talking about the spiritual decendants of Abraham. Although in many places God also blesses the decendants who are not of the promise simply because they also are abrahams seed.

  • @EIGHTYNINENINERS That has NOTHING to do with the current nation of israel. How BLIND are so many christians today? The current physical nation of ISrael are CURSED because they rejected the Messiah. they were broken off the tree, and those Jew and Gentile who put their faith in Jesus are grafted in.

  • @Noffy1111 ok dude.... what you believe about end times has nothing to do with your salvation. This is the problem with going to a church like yours. in this specific case this guy is exactly right he is correctly interpreting this scripture. it is the dispensationalist who is twisting this scripture. I am not a preterist by the way. What are you going to do when the rapture does not happen and you see the anti-Christ? Will your boasting save you?

  • This video makes several good points. The term "lip" seems to imply a type of confession and view rather than dialect.

  • The day is coming when the rapture will happen and before your eyes the anti christ will emerge. What will you do then? Will you leave your heretic ways and become a true believer?

What will you do when the mark of the beast comes? Will you sit behind your desk and try and explain it away with your scripture twisting?
