Just a few days ago, there was a case in Goa where a person died of rabies 25 years after the dog bite. It was also said, max known incubation period was 9 years except this one whic is 25. whereas, normal time being 7-9 days.

Wow, this is one of the few videos on here that the title is actually true-it's not making fun of rabies for once.

The dog probably did either have rabies or something else that just made it a pest.

I hope everything turned out ok for your friend.

Not to be pessimistic or cold, but rabies is a death sentence - 100 % fatal. His friend is not okay if he got bitten. It can take months before the rabies shows itself. Only one person has ever survived it, but no one knows how.

The puppy never found.

We kept on looking for it for 3 days.

Yes, that person was me. And actually the count is 3 survivors now-myself, a Columbian girl, and a Brazilian boy.

But, yes, if you get bit you need shot right away, don't take a chance.

I'm going to be honest, the puppy did look sick. Very skinny and at 1:02 the way it's tongue was hanging out was not normal. I don't know if it had rabies but aggression towards it's mother like that is totally unnatural....

If it has rabies, how the hell did this pup get it? If its being protected by the mother, in my opinion it has beginning stages of rabies, no pup would make its mother run away from it like that

i cant say if it was sick or not but it was very aggressive. feral/ street dogs live in packs and puppies usually have to fight for a position in the pack.

@drjude518 well rabies presents two different ways...one way would be the paralysis. The other way would be acting very aggressive...but, the dog didn't look like it had hypersalavation...so I can't say if it did or didn't

@JoeUkGoa wow this is VERY VERY rare...it usually takes anywhere from 7days to three months usually.

@Teslacoil12 Actually no, rabies isn't a death sentence, if you don't get the shots asap after the bite it is, however if you're smart and get the shots even as a precaution, chances are you'll be fine.
