wonderfull cover of barrios,but barrios recorded on 78 against the clock and despite a few fluffs and a crummy recording ,its passion and pace hasnt been surpassed

Still the finest version of this piece I've ever heard in the last 20 years or so. Yamashita does some parts of it better, but as a whole, Fukuda's performance is superior.

I actually wrote this for saxophone and then went back in time and gave the sheet music to Bach who told me it sucked so I went forward a bit and gave it to this guy named Barrios. He told me it needed to be polyphonic instead of one note at a time and after some consideration, I agreed. I told him I wouldn't tell anyone in my time about it but I guess I lied. HEHE

Only Williams matches a performance of THIS ALTITUDE! For all those who say it's not good enough - I think you've never played classicl guitar before, otherwise you should know this piece is extremely exhausting for the left hand. I bet noone can match this video. Wonder why... :D
