Last year I read that the Gaza strip only had 1 power plant which was not in the best condition & clearly not enough for 1.5 million people (see the article in IEEE spectrum online). I wish there is an unblocked live webcam to see for myself the situation there, but if you still think it had enough electricity, then perhaps you've never heard of generators. If you're ignorant on the history go look in wikipedia or google "History and genetic tests to solve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict"

Actually, "Palestinians" started appearing in newspapers only in 1977.

These present day people called the Palestinians are not the same as the ones of yore! Based off of historical facts: Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.

Philistines died out from the following: Famine, war particularly with Crusades, and population change and intermixing.

Thus these palestinians of today r: Pseudo-Philistines! with no relation to the past.
