During the Norwegian soccer cup final (1st match) between the teams Viking and Fredristad in 1984, the midlfield player Per Egil Ahlsen on the Fredrikstad team scored this freekick goal from a distance of 35 meters, that I consider to be the most beautiful goal ever in the history.
Why? You may ask. Well, for me it's a combination of the distance from which the kick was taken, and the fact that the ball traveled all the way to the upper right cross corner of the goal in a straight line, as opposed to the usual slight curve.
This is a new upload by me, of hopefully better quality than my previous clip here of the same goal

  • Just luck, But it's awesome!

  • Soccer is the easiest sport out there. Just pass and move and every 5 games shoot.

  • Wait.. is this female football?

  • fauls are not the best goals the best goals take action and running

  • yes this goal is so rare... ahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • ...just a FYI for you english football fans; the goalie is Erik Thorstvedt, who went on to play for Tottenham

  • For you under-appreciators out there: The reason this is (one of) the prettiest goals ever, is the incredible force with which he kicks the ball. Most people cant even send the ball that fast from a volley shot, much less from a stand still like a free kick. Watch the ball's trajectory, it doesnt even begin to dip or curl: it goes in a perfect straight line straight to the back of the net. And from that distance, that is beyond amazing.

  • - Hvor langt var det Drillo, HUNDRE meter?! -Femogtjue?
