It is better than mine which cost € 15 and not cut anything. I've stopped serving him and have already lost. This is a good idea and original. With small improvements serves very well.

Great video and you did a nice job.
If you get an old shovel handle they are usually Hickory and would make a better handle then that 2x4
Also I would finish it with linseed oil as less likely to give you blisters
But again you did a great job on both the axe and video !

Not cheating if i wasen't intending to make that type of axe... Like i have said many times: This is an axe made for doing bushcraft, not made in the bush

like the axe why not try to bend the metal around the handle and fuse together to make a tomohawk instead of weakin the handle by spliting it i made one and its pretty good

Plain and simple because i dont have a forge. This is simply a way to make and axe without and special equipment.
