A quick video outlining what we're doing at the World Economic Forum. Hear from Lee Hunter of the YouTube team about how Moderator is being used to get your questions into the panel discussions.

And, hear from Julia Lalla-Maharajh about her experience bringing the issue of female genital mutilation to Davos, after winning the 2010 "Your Pitch to the World" contest. Thanks to your votes for her video, Julia is here in Davos meeting with leaders to advance her cause. She'll be featured on a panel with Pulitzer-prize winning columnist Nick Kristof of the New York Times on Saturday, and you can post your questions for that panel at youtube.com/davos.

Here's Julia's winning video on FGM: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJd7yq2uUKk

  • " Photos speak louder than words

  • LadyBludgeon, personally , the thought of my penis being mutilated is enough visualization for me, but yeah for some people who don't think too much, and are just looking. would be a good idea, maybe get them thinking about it. i just chanced across this vid, last time i heard about this was years ago, did not even know it was still happening?

  • I'd like to see their genitals horribly mutilated!!! That would be a great visual!

  • lordtalon69...........hilarious!!!!!!!!

  • Great video summary of the Davos Debates this year. I hadn't seen it until today!

  • @LadyBludgeon @bigncornfed check up on the Franklin Cover up...Paul Bannoci David Gosch (aka Jeff Gannon)and the Conspiracy of Silence and then wen you go to Wal Mart look at all the "missing children pictures" its a rabbit hole much deeper and sicker then anybody imagined!!

  • Lol, if he joined it would look random, he dissed the crap out of them last year :-p

  • I wish these rich, over privilege, white men would show the horrors of genital mutilation rather than just talking about it. Joe Sacco once said, "It's a visual world and people respond to visuals." Photos speak louder than words and more people will respond/ get involved.

  • I agree with the first and last sentence, but the middle sentence isn't necessary and only discredits your intellect. :/
