MUFON Symposium2008ZG

This is the video I produced for the MUFON 2008 Symposium opening. John Greenewald narrates.
I produced this with actual UFO video provided by Robert Mitchell, and CGI of the Earth I did with a friend over a few months. We also built the MUFON logo from scratch in MAYA for the UFO fast-pass effect. I used high resolution renders for the graphics for the covers and posters I also did for the conference. The Earth scene is actually a very large 3D Model with shader effects we animated and rendered in 3D Studio Max. It took a week to render the scene at movie formats. This is an appropriately reduced version.

You can see a smaller and less quality version on the official MUFON site also. I have tried to budget a re-edit to add credits for John's and others help, but MUFON has no budget and I have not had the time and resources yet, so this is as is.

Thanks to my best friend Don Livingston for hand holding and teaching me MAYA to the extent I now understand it. (He and I did Sundisk for Jon Anderson in 1992, and first saw we shared creative blood.) And, also John Greenewald for his perfect narration and being such a pleasure to work with. A real pro. And MUFON, Dir. James Carrion and my friends Ruben Uriarte (MUFON Nor Cal Dir.) and Les Velez (Assistant Dir, MUFON Ca.). As a MUFON Field Investigator myself, I was honored to help the organization and all my friends.
