@fartknocker31 I heard from friends that speak thai when traveling through Thailand, found out some Khmers living in Thailand have to kept their Khmer Heritage a secret due to harassment. Could that be a reason why they deny their Khmer heritage?

@sochatchhiv ....... you're right. As an American living in Thailand, I'm disgusted to see so many Thais that have Khmer blood to deny who they really are. They get brainwashed. It's utterly sickening.

I have to disagree with you on the matter that you just presented. I am Khmer from Changwat Srah Keao, and I still see myself as Khmer and our spirits arestill alive. During Pjum Ben, we still pray to our ancestors in Khmer. We are victims of circumstances of losing a war and losing our cultures to pretenders like the Siem.
You spoke like a true Siem invaders. Cultural and ethnic identity did not start yesterday and will not end tomorrow and we will always struggle to survive as Khmer.

this guy and i debated so much though private message. and alot of other thai people as well. they dont want to debate in forum atlease they give a shot through comment then they just disappear knowing they are wrong. i found a good time to surprise him and debate in public through comment.
2nd Thai Isann? he claim hes Thai Isann, wtf if you even know laos history, thai made up some new cultural shit even now laos trying to separate with them claiming those laos to be thai. go do research plz
