Why is this video so heavily weighted towards abortion? Maybe it would be fair to also give weight to the options of having the baby and looking after it themselves, or in fact letting the baby be adopted by the hundreds of families desperate for a child of their own?

im 17 and im expecting my first baby in may

i am so happy even though i dont have much support from the father, my friends and family are being extremely supportive!

i have a job and dont scrounge off anyone for money as some people would think

abortion didnt even cross my mind when i found out and i cant wait for my little person to be here!

for other young women out there who have discovered they are expecting remember there is more than one choice and do what is right for you and the child

The point is that the teenager will not be able to have a life, it's better to be able to get proper qualifications, get a stable job, a loving partner and a good home to raise a child. Rather than scrounging off your parents and taxpayers, raising the child in a squalid council flat with no father, not being able to feed yourself and the baby a healthy meal or afford nice toys...add onto this the fact that a teenage mother is not a mature adult and will impact on this child's mental wellbeing.

Saying that, I have to say, this video is too far weighted towards abortion. Teenagers are petrified at finding they are pregnant, but girls, there are worse things than a little baby, you can have plenty plenty support and honestly the joys outwiegh the hardships by far. Don't go down the abortion route, you will regret it for the rest of your life but you would NEVER NEVER regret giving birth to your little baby. From the day they are born they light up your life. Think hard. This vid is wrong

Abortion is a horrible thing to go through and not an easy decision to come to, but some people just do not feel they could cope with a child. I had a friend who was under 25, had two children already, had just started her third attempt at a degree and found herself pregnant again (despite being on the pilll) She had suffered terrible depression in previous years and knew a 3rd pregnancy would destroy her mentally, and she couldn't go through with it. It was right for her at the time.

This is basically a video promoting abortion as soon as a teenager gets pregnant, seriously abortion is evil you're taking away the freedom of an innocent life, why not allow the child to grow up and have a life, theres aways support

Depends on personal opinion. I would have said that you may feel in moral terms it was wrong and that you killed a child.
