Bessie recorded this song during an era where talking out loud about what we all know happens behind closed doors was totally taboo. I've often mused to myself that songs like these were what frightened white folks when it came to black musicians. That being said, Bessie Smith is one of the TOP blues singers in history and thanks for posting this great old song
