Considering she died in 1937, it very well could be.

Just a rumor.. she went to the black hospital straight away. I've looked into this, there were separate facilities, but she wasn't denied care. Don't think there was much to do anyway, she was really DOA.

That's a myth.. While she was taken to a black hospital it had nothing to do with her death in and of itself.
