because its pretty annoying that there is a strip map and automated voice telling u exactly were to go (for those stupid tourists) and it doesnt have a railfan window and i just get a better feeling when i ride the older trains

rumors are going around that soon, the 6 trains will be all R62s again.. along with the 4 line. While the 7 gets new cars

Those R142s are so pretty in the front. I like that red shade. And they look and sound very much like the new 5000 series cars that the CTA here in Chicago has for its L cars.

My friends and i would see the train coming around the bend
and race to hop the turnstile to catch the train..Cops were rare
at this station in the 80's and today too.

That move made no geological sense at all!!! The 4,5,6 dont even go near Queens, let alone Shea Stadium. I have come up with a plan to go over to the people who made the movie and give them the "Backhand"

SPITFIRE, i couldnt agree with you more. the MTA is messing up the subway system with these new automated garbage trains. i would rather see the R62s back on this line and of course the red birds.

@mwrgamer different motors, different manufacturers, mostly minor specs as the design and operation is still the same..
you can tell them apart by the sound they make
