There is around 375Mb of maps loaded on the device SD card. All you need is your GPS receiver to be on all the time and you can switch off your phone network or even take out your SIM card and this GPS will still work.

Its great to see a new software with Indian map.

Could you check your phone and see if it uses an FBL file as its India maps?

I am using Sygic Mobile Maps 10 v8.06. Its pretty detailed for Bangalore. In fact, I drove all the way to my native place in Palakkad without asking anyone for directions.
