[LoL] It's never too late to BE YOURSELF

I use tomboy as an example since that's the most I get, but guys, I am who I am because I like who I am.
You guys need to find out who you are and do what you enjoy, be who you enjoy (obviously within law-abiding reason) and find out, for yourself, who you are.

I'm not here to tell you who to be and what to be.
I'm here to tell you, to tell YOURSELF, who YOU want to be.

Say this to yourself,
"I don't follow the (insert stereotype) label, it follows ME."
(i.e. I don't follow the tomboy label, it follows ME.)

Different labels are just made by ppl who can't live with the fact there are things you can't lable in this world. I would call myself tomboy but I like to have a mix of styles, and some people just can't live with the fact that I want to be myself, and that makes me feel insecure. Thanx for making video's. They make me believe in myself again.

I really agree to everything you say in this vid.. To some ppl, labels are everything and I hate the way they just look at someone once and go like '' oh, yeah she's defienetely emo etc " and after that' it's really hard to get rid of that label. It can really make you think like "Oh, maybe I am, if they say so" even tho it shouldn't be that way. T___T Then they lose their personality and really become what ppl label 'em to be .. Maybe one day ppl dare to be just theirselves ...

I know many people in the world stick on a label and use that to justify the lack of need to actually get to know that person, simply due to "oh they're gay" or "oh they're goth" or whatever, which are labels they dislike, they throw out the possibility of actually getting to know them as a person. It's sad.

your video actually helped me all the way. I kept thinking and think hard. then i realize emo follows me. There's this kid in my class who labeled me " emo" It freaking hurts o-o just beacuse i wear black and i have sidebangs doesn't mean I'm emo. I mean there's even this kid you said " Hey.. you're not wearing black..." I'm fricken cold! Plus I dont have any undershirts to wear under a white shirt.

i see exactly what you mean in this video... but my family always restrict me from buying the things i want for example if i pick out a boys shirt they go " your a young girl you can't where that" and in my opinion gender doesn't matter. what should i do if the people around me don't let me be me?
