The Question Is - Carson Seventh-day Adventist Church

It has become extremely apparent that there are a lot of Adventists out there in the world that have a sole purpose of searching for videos that contain drums and various instruments just to make negative remarks. Wow, how Christ-like is that? When Christ came to this earth he didn't criticize nearly as much as these so-called Christians do and he was perfect! I just don't understand it sometimes...

Let me just also add that the singers in this video are not Adventist but the song was sung at an Adventist-sponsored function.

There is a vast difference between judgment & discernment. I am a conservative Adventist, & I can see how people would naturally have concern when they see a video like this. I already know the singers are not SDA, but may I ask why they allow this kind of music in their Church? U profess to believe the writings of Sister White, yet u do realize that she warns heavily against these worship styles? Of emotional movements, swaying, of a sensational character? We are to be a peculiar people.

@Lysimachus78 Rather than get into a debate on worship styles, let's say that this video is obviously not for you. I know where you're coming from but I also know that Christ was more interested in love than in judging others. Let us turn to the Beatitudes and quote those wonderful lines instead of looking at everything with a magnifying glass in one hand and Sister White's library in the other. If we focused as much energy on winning souls as we did on discerning EGW's values, well...

I just don't understand it sometimes" I'm assuming you don't read the same bible most christian do.. about jesus criticizing the pharisees? dont forget he told us to judge but judge righteously so we can be aware of unholiness practices creeping into his holy humble church.. i know what he meant wen he said the church will be sleeping.

never seen on do as this church is doing!! I suppose that is why it has SO MANY negative comments!!

NO NO NO...Catholics claim that they got the gospel from the Apostle Peter...

Mormons and Jehovah Witnessses came of their own formation with their own group.

Not one single group came out of the SDA except those that are cultic offshoots.

NO absolutely not...the Mormons did not come OUT of the Adventist group.

The only similarity is that they came up into being about the same time in history...God's true church

and one of Satan's counterfeits.
