I ordered it from ebay from "etefore". They sell on there for half what Canon wants plus I got two batteries. So far so good. I have seen in other blog reviews that some of the buttons didn't work and the batteries didn't come charged. Well the one I got everything is working just fine and the batteries came charged and ready to go. The shipping was pretty fast. Once I won the auction couple of days later got a email from them saying they shipped it and I got it in the mail about 6 days later really fast. As you can see in some of the shots any little dirt that gets on the grip is hard to get off.

That is a lens hood. It keeps out any light that may "flare" in from the sides.
