oh i love thiss...... i still have the chipmunks theme song on my ipod lol, i wish i could just go back, no scratch that i wish my kids could grow up watching programs like this not little einsteins and dora the explorer.

@zinniababy 80s let you be a kid and didn't force you to improve yourself or be exposed to mature themes too early. Growing up in the 80's, 70's or even 90's is so much better than what kids have to face nowadays.

I think you missed out another famous blue character from the 80's, Thomas! The first Thomas episode was broadcast 1984

Many of these had repeats that were shown in the '90s - i know this as I watched LOL [90s CBBCwas loovvvee!] They were classics - kids today, with Hannah Montanna, In the night garden etcc are SOO missing out :/ Particularly loved the Raccoons, I have great memories of being about 6and watching that - similar with the Snorks and the smurfs. :')

I tried to make my kids watch the Original Chipmunks since the new movie came out...it was a no go! I used to love this cartoon!
