i honestly think the panthers fans are really reeling this "we havent lost to the saints in the dome since 2001." i wont be surprised if the saints lose to the panthers, but one of those panther wins in the dome, in 2006 the saints were benching their starters because they found out that they had locked up homefield advantage up to the divisional round. i remember quite vividly that brees played the first drive and left the game. and even with their backups, they only lost by 10 points.

how am i a hypocrite? what i mean when i say that i would be surprised if the panthers win is "ANY GIVEN SUNDAY!" the difference between the saints of then and the saints of now is the fact that they didnt have a good team back then. how many times have the saints gone to the playoffs since you beat them in at the dome? twice, and in 2006 they sat their starters most of the game. you can go so far looking at the past until you look like thats all that matters, it doesnt, things change.
