WSLS Morning Talent Open 1996

This is the talent open for Channel 10 News Today from 1996. Dave Mellon and Terry Tucker were the orginial morning team on WSLS, having anchored from the time WSLS launced a morning newscast in 1992. Tucker resigned in December 1997. The next month, Mellon was reassigned to a reporting position when the station revamped its morning show and hired Karen McNew. Rather than accept the demotion, Mellon quit and left WSLS for good.
