Every 30 seconds, malaria claims another African life. Mosquitoes in Tanzania carry the deadly malaria parasite. Expectant mothers are most vulnerable, especially at night while they sleep. Their best and most effective protection is a mosquito net. A contribution of $20 provides vouchers for five mosquito nets and covers half the full cost. Mothers pay the other half, which encourages local stores and kiosks to keep the nets in stock. Lives are saved and the local economy grows!
