  • @nancypo1 ever swing your hens around by the head?

  • Some breeds still do have jobs. I raise Rat Terriers. Not the toy 'hoping to make 8 lb' types, but original standard, farm-sized, hunting Rat Terriers, 20 to 30 lbs, 14 to 17 inches at the withers. They are what their name says, "Ratters." I had 15 cats, mice in the feed and rats in the hay. I got my first two, and in 6 months I was finding homes for cats. Never regretted it.

  • I love seeing a dog doing a real job. :)

  • That was inspiring thanks! I like it!

  • Great, excpet for teaching the dog to bite and grab the chickens :( My aussie would heard them. If my dog attacked/grabbd/bit one of my hens I'd smack her hard. I trained her to be gentle with my hens...

  • Hysterical! Go for it girl!

  • Funny and informative.

    Thank you for posting.

  • This is so good, thanks for posting it. I'm working towards my first chooks, missed out on a few heritage breeds because a local breeder in Murrambatemen ran out. Wanted to get Astrolorps. Anyway, thanks again very good video!
