Shame that John Woo isn't making Heroic Bloodshed films anymore. The closest thing we have to "Heroic Bloodshed-mode" John Woo these days is either Zack Snyder or Michael Bay.

This shootout is rediculous but entertaining. I wonder why they had white suits? HMMMM... extra squib action. Yun Fat hits everyone with 6-8 9mm's.

what are you supposed to think when watching these movies about them reloading as you never see it and they always appear to have unlimited ammo? they need to add more realism to movies.

Seeing this for like the 200th time (I'm not kidding) gets me thinking about how much of The Killer is about the violation of the domestic, i.e. how many scenes take place in people's apartments or homes, which reinforces the theme of the unintended consequences of a violent (Jeff's) lifestyle; also, however, how the cop is just as helpless as the killer to protect Jenny; both men are reduced to the most brute dimension (e.g. using a kitchen knife) when confronted by these white-clad monsters

I love how at 1:44 Chow Yun Fat stabs that guy and the cop gives him a horrified look, like 'damn that was fucked up'.
