Unknown Sewer Creature of South Park Ƣݔҩᾫ٨ӷ

Found in Level 3 Sewage and Wastewater Grotto, clinging to the smooth sides and apparently grazing on bacterial colonies. Actually this is Bibiocephala grandis: Netwinged midge larvae, (Diptera: Blephariceridae) Found in South Park, CO. Collected in Arkansas River south of Fairplay.The suctorial discs help anchor the midge larva to rocks in fast-moving, highly-oxygenated streams.

@arthurdragon17 lol I'm not really an expert on caterpillars, I just was telling that guy it couldn't have been a caterpillar, then he asked me another question.

Speculatively, you may have been sprayed by one of the acid spitting ones. I doubt the acid is strong; there is no need for a caterpillar to have defenses strong enough to seriously effect a human.

I suppose it may be possible to have an allergy to them. I'm not one to ask... I just knew Azotador and Caterpillar where the same creature.
