@Davey963 Because Discovery, Nat Geo and History seem to believe that Brits can't understand US accents... and vice-versa. Pathetic, really.

This was a great episode, but really, let's imagine for a second that there actually WERE a hoax. That is, imagine that the government really did fake the moon landings, and it's still trying to keep this a secret. If that were true, there's no way this episode would have made it on the air if they had come to any other conclusion. Entertaining and informative episode, but useless for convincing anybody of the landings' authenticity who doesn't already accept it.

@ladiesman9999234 errr, Fox TV aired a "it was a hoax" documentary in 2000, not once but twice. The gov obviously doenst give a rats ass who thinks its fake.

@ladiesman9999234 - What matters are the experiments they perform. Here's an older documentary (with no connection to NASA) released 9 years ago that also 'busts' some of the same hoax claims as MBs did in 2008 (and some that MBs didn't look at), and did it in their own way;

So both carried out experiments to debunk moon hoax claims, and yet after all these years, no moon hoax film maker has attempted to prove those experiments wrong! That says a lot imo.

Having a discussion with these "moon landing is fake people" is like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are at chess, the pigeon will knock over the pieces, crap on the board and strut like it is victorious.

@firesword1125 100% correct!!!.....I also agree with the post of danetope that the Russians would be the first in line with proof that it didn't happen. I think its a total disgrace that people are trying discredit some of the finest pioneers of the space program .
