Here I used software called GlovePie to allow a Wii Nunchuck to be used as a controlller for a mouse pointer on a PC via Bluetooth wireless link (a sort of airborne mouse). The left click is achieved by clicking one of the Nunchuck buttons.
I am using it here with a free on screen keyboard for the disabled and a free text to speech system which speaks what you have just typed.
The GlovePie script I have written allows the pointer to be moved by tilting the Nunchuck right/left/forward/back, or by using the thumb joystick.
The Nunchuck might be a very good low cost input device for disabled people. The trick is (1) getting it to talk to the PC and then (2) getting it to control an onscreen mouse pointer - for which the GlovePie script is used.
Awesome work, can you share your script?
