Ha ha, mine does that too. You have to swipe down like that to answer a call. I often lose the call because that swipe down action won't work. I love the phone and hate it at the same time. I think I will go back to Sony Ericcsons after this. Still have another 10 months to go before my free upgrade with T Mobile though. Also the letter 'e' doesn't work on the keyboard. So I can only get a letter e if it brings it up with predictive text.
Youngest is getting one for Christmas, I hope it doesn't do this :-S

@cariad81 I think it's a rare fault. If it does do this, then get it replaced under the warranty. They are brilliant phones when they work. Having said that, I had to get a budget Android smartphone for someone this Christmas and chose a Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray instead... :)

I had the same problem, but it went away after a few weeks :)

@rapeyadog the problem on this unit was intermittent - it would sometimes work. But, it often came back. So, if your unit is in warranty I would suggest getting it repaired if you can see the fault at all.

I have exacly the same problem. It's annoying as hell!
Anyone know how to fix it?

@TobiasChr96 in this case the problem was fixed by HTC replacing the unit at a third attempt at repair. I am guessing that it might be repairable by replacing the glass screen and digitiser. The parts are available on the internet but doing the repair yourself might be tricky and would invalidate the warranty. I suspect it is a manufacturing flaw in the digitiser, or alternatively an assembly fault making the flexible cable or connector not work properly.
