@DaughterofRaistlin The reason we generally only speak English is because of our size. Compare it to Europe, where you can spit in the air and it would land in another country that speaks a different language. If Pennsylvania and Vermont had two different languages. I probably would speak them.  I'm not saying we're dumb for speaking one language, far from it. We tend to forget there are others that don't speak English to accommodate us. You can't deny we do that shit a lot.

stf you self absorbed bleeding heart. you know why Americans generally speak only English? because our public schools fill our reqiurments with crap that's irrelivant and refuse to supply foreign language teachers, and our country is so big with generally ONLY English speakers and/or spanglish that we really don't NEED to learn any other language
