Carl. Dont be too hard on yourself.. What you got was very interesting. As for quality I know we all want to get things the best we can. You did good and again try posting some footage to let us see the beauty of space. Would love to get some photos of you in the observatory doing a set up etc as Im involved with a local site balbriggan.info
The problem is my focal length is 3910mm C14 and satellite tracker to be honest is not that great for keeping it in the FOV. I’m Constantly making adjustments to keep it on the screen. There is new software called optic tracker witch locks onto the image once it on the screen but I still have to test it. Hoping to make much better videos down the line.
Really good and interesting footage Carl..Well caught.Would you have longer footage say 2,3 or 4 mins of whats happening in space... Could make an interesting posting especially as it is a Balbriggan Observatory. ...Enjoyed that.
Good job Carl: In case anybody is wondering the reason the ISS appears to jump is because Carl stiched together various parts of a video sequence at different visual angles as it crossed the sky. Excellent work
