Demonstrates an experimental 1920x1080 resolution PC-Desktop-to-HDTV-screen using a USB-to-HDMI Display Adapter, the Arkview USB-2011 VIEWPLEX 195 USB to 2.0 DVI/HDMI/SVGA Display Adapter (2048x1152) supporting 1920x1080 resolution

For 3D Stereo, makes use of video simultaneously recorded for the left eye & right eye viewpoints, with both views presented in parallel, side-by-side on a screen & combined into a 3D stereo view. 3D viewing is achieved by using either of the following methods:

* Cross-eye 3D: While viewing the left & right side imagery, crossing the eyes slightly to produce an image in the center between the 2 side views, then focusing attention on the center image, which will be the combined left & right image stereo view. The left & right views can be blocked out by using your hands as side blinders, partially covering the eyes

* Prismatic 3D Glasses: These glasses use prisms to combine the left & right side images into a stereo view for the viewer, without one having to perform the cross-eye operation; the glasses as well use side blinders to mask out the left & tight images, leaving only the 3D stereo view. Popular brands are available from Berezin
( http://www.berezin.com/3D/3dprism.htm ) & Anachrome/Prisma-Chrome HD
( http://www.anachrome.com/prismhd.htm )

An advantage of these methods of 3D presentation is that they deliver a full fidelity HD experience - there is no loss of resolution, color, luminance, etc - the characteristics of the HD source are fully preserved.

The video contains the following clips - (1) A computer-generated fly-over of terrain resembling fractal-generated scenery, on YouTube at HD 720 (2) A 3D Camcorder recording of a fireworks display, on YouTube at HD 1080.
