Thanks to jndlee92, I can go back to LeStudio during the making of Vital Signs and sit in for the band. I just needed Geddy to stick around and do the vocal track. And he also took care of the synths for me, too. What a guy.
Without Alex around, I had problems finding the right guitar sound, but eff it. I blended three sounds into one muddy mess. But who cares, right? I did the bass line on my Charvel and the drum modules I used were an Alesis D4, some other Alesis, and some kind of Simmons thing. And I know that some of you ayholes like to accuse people of pretending to play (mostly because they can't), but I can assure you that the only part of this that isn't me is Geddys vocals and the Synth track. No guitars were injured during the making of this video.

I love that Charvel. It's got punch and a lot of bite. I think I traded a console TV for it 15 years ago. It still has the original Jackson pickups and it was made right here in Ft. Worth. You happen to know what model this is? I don't have any idea and I've always wondered...

    Thanks for the comment.

Hey thanks, man. But I know nothing about editing software. The only program I know about is the one I'm using. It's Magix 2.0 or some shit. I bought it at a used book store for 7 bucks. It took a while to figure out the possibilities, and I'm sure theres still a lot to learn. I didn't know I could layer anything til I added the brain in La Villa. Then I explored when I did Xanadu. And got carried away with the Opeth cover. You don't have to be a rocket pharmacist thats for sure.

  • excellent job! i can barely play the guitar, let alone all the instruments lol. keep posting Rush!
