Tokyo Day FOUR - Harumafuji v Tamanoshima - September 16, 2009

The 1st of 5 matches I'll have for you on Day 4 of SUMO action from Tokyo.

I apologize for the muddy audio - you can see the difficulties of shared living spaces as you can hear my father chatting on the phone in the other room. The other 4 matches I taped from today are easier to hear.

This match between ozeki Harumafuji and maegashira #3 Tamanoshima (not to be confused with maegashira #4 Toyonoshima) results in a "mono-ii" or judges conference as they have to discuss who touched outside the ring first.

I think a rematch would have been a little unfair to Tamanoshima. He clearly had control of Harumafuji with his arms tucked inside of Tamanoshima. It was close to the foot touch, but glad to see they gave it to Tamanoshima. I had to see Harumafuji lose, but Tamanoshima earned that victory.
