Doll 368/3 after adjustments.

This is the same machine featured in an earlier video where the performance was less than stunning (to put it mildly)....after some investigation it became obvious the problem lay in the valve timing- there was too much play in the tiny joint or bearing between the eccentric rod and the piston valve leading to a "lag" in the valve timing. One tiny bushing and some strained eyes cured this..the leaking steam line will wait for another day...

Lovely engine. I've become a big fan of old Doll engines since I started my collection. So elegant and still working well in spite of their age.

I have 2 verticals and 3 horizontals now and I am always on the lookout for more. :)

@calypso22 Thank you, your 365 is a particularly nice ( and pretty rare) engine- unfortunatly the Doll "secret" seems to be out and prices have risen accordingly.
