  • Unfortunately, Harold Davis didn't have a good phone connection for this presentation. I think it's still worth listening to and watching--his photos are astounding.

  • Hello Harold, awesome video i must say.. I am an starter and I got some very nice clues from this one.. One question to you - I have a Canon EOS 60D. The highest Exposure that I can go to is 30s. At a few places in the video you said, you did an exposure as long as a Few minutes.. So, is that a function of the Camera or a particular Lens? What would i need to do to achieve an exposure in minutes.. ?

  • houston we have a problem!!

  • @SweetGunKiss Maybe he does come from space! ahahahah!!!

  • I have just started Night time photography and I am having a little problem, I cant seem to work the histogram properly at night time. I understand that I need it in the Mid tones areas but I cant seem to get it at a Mountain,

it just stayed in the 0 area (Black Pixels) I cant get it in mid tones any I dear how to do this ????

  • that boat picture at 43:00 is awesome

  • Wow, what a way to overcomplicate night photography. To each his own, but film is superior for night photography.

  • I was on the original call and there were just a few words I couldn't make out. I typed in the question to clarify a word and Harold did. Through his photos an commentary I am getting hooked on night photography. I just ordered his book, Practical Artistry: Light & Exposure for Digital Photographers. Can't wait until it arrives.
