He's not really an asshole. He's just a typical 'get everything right at the cost of my own humanity' kind of leader.
He may seem abrasive, but thats only because he likes to get the job done properly.
Col Everett is the more laid back kind of guy. Easy to get along with but will do his job properly when he is required to.
