Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade, Version 2! (No Show Stop)

When the "Celebrate a Dream Come True" parade featured earlier this year, the common complaint was that many characters were removed from the parade. Starting the week of May 3rd, however, was an update to the parade, with many characters returning to the parade, as well as some that have been unseen.

Recorded on 05 / 04 /09. I apologize for the low quality, but I didn't have my good video camera with me. I'll try to upload a higher quality soon. Also, I had to leave, so I didn't stick around for one of the show stops.

Of course, all Disney Characters, the Park, and the Music Belong to the Disney Co.

Since I'm a Disney employee I heard that since the villians dont celebrate anything that thay we're thinking about making it in to a bigger,better Celebrate Today Float!

That's a bit unlikely. The reason we never got Disneyland's "Parade of Dreams" was because we weren't willing to let go of the villian float. Also, if they were redo the float, they would have to retrain the entire parade cast AGAIN, which I'm sure they're not in a rush to do. Not to mention, we still use the villian float for the Halloween Parade.

I completely agree. Poor Daisy gets overlooked in everything.

Didn't it used to do a show stop right after completely exiting the parade gates? Hopefully that isn't a sign of more budget cuts. :(

They used to, but I think with the new set up, they now do their first show stop after the castl float exits Town Square and hits Main Street.

why couldn't the make the carpet on the Aladdin big enough to hold Aladdin and Jasmine?

Agreed. This is so much better. I do feel the villains float could still work. You can, after all, celebrate anything :)

I think that this is better than the initial version however the Villains float, though non-fitting more than ever in this version, is sorely missed.

I think the show stops are kind of hit and miss, sometimes they do all three, sometimes they don't. There is a video of the princess float showstop with the new version so I know they still atleast do it on Main Street.
