The adults of the Centre for Family Literacy's Learning Together program, who were the winners of the 2008/09 Lois Hole Adult Learner Group Award, speak about the benefits of participating in the program to themselves and their children. These women persevered through many personal challenges, and each one improved by at least one grade level in reading comprehension while their children demonstrated a high degree of school readiness.
