I disagree with your premise Mr. Griffin.

I would argue that the incorrect spelling of Pond, despite it being clearly notated in the title of this video was a foundation for a more rewarding experience for all of us.

As for the there/their issue, it should be seen as a parody of common grammar arguments, the punchline here being that I am assured of a fact despite its fallaciousness, thus stripping back the source argument to two elements, correction and assertion.
