London Rising Tide Greenwash Guerillas Invade BP Sponsored Tate Britain
On Friday 4 January 2008 the Rising Tide Greenwash Guerilla Brigade decided to pay Tate Britain a lil' visit.
Following the previous day's successful action at the Shell headquarters the group had a die-in while Iggy and others decided to hand out informative leaflets on what BP are up to in the world.
Needless to say security immediately jumped in, but their forceful words were wasted due to incredible mandatory politeness.
No injuries were reported and no paintings were removed and sold on the illegal art market.

Good video. They should have more artistic high mindedness.

why are people still so occupied with creating order than with creating some awareness?

These darling young people! Yes, we are seeing this more and more in the US, corporate sponsorship of art, and their supression of subject matter that does not "jibe well" with the product. Disgusting. I love you guys, and *uck BP.

Nice work guys. To those who say they are harming their cause are fools. As long as forums like You Tube exist to promote such actions then youll get a lot of people thinking. My only advice, make them funnier and get more people watching - humour, sex, celebrity, thats all 99% of people look at online vids for.

..I agree with Webb, you're hurting your own cause.
