  • Ever considered hardening the teeth and the bed knife ? Doing that would make it last mebbe 3x as long, maybe more.

  • I'm using face hardening welding rods to build up the bed and rotor teeth, it works quite well, but nothings immune to wear like this thing experiences

  • 8:44 yeah, ZZ-Top!

  • how much did it cost ?

  • if you have a reinforced oil drum you can use a chain that almost touches the sides this is welded to a motor axle to smash the steel or what ever you want to destroy in to a pulp they use these in big steel recycling plants they are very effective. in the bottom of the barrel you put a trap door to get rid of wast steel.see what you think

  • Everyone who has an old motor like this seem to say they are not heating up much. Motor manufacturers of old times knew something that we have forgot since. Or motor manufacturers of today's just don't see making motors such durable a good business, so they just hack up the efficiency.

  • i never seen a moter that has dis engaging brushes ,interesting

  • thats a nice motor
