  • Actually Spain was the first true global empire and the first empire too were " the sun never sets.", words of King Phillip II of Spain , and later adopted by the English for their own empire.

  • Manichaeism for simple minds... Ah¡ and Philip was blonde, there are thousands of pictures.

  • Remember Iberian union with Portugal, we Portuguese lost our king without descendt and Felipe of Spain invaded Portugal and he got our empire and our big naval fleet, we lost half our naval power on that war,,, 1580 to 1667 was our big desastre : to form Iberian union

  • @ejc45 You fail to appreciate the gravity of what occurred. Phillip II did not only declare war on the English, he did in the name of the Catholic Church. The Spanish Armada was one piece of a Crusade, or a Holy WAR, meant to replace and punish perceived heretics and infidels with rulers obedient to the Catholic faith. Among the Armada was the Inquisition... You haven't the slightest idea or respect for how terrible that would have been... Not exactly the IRS asking for taxes...

  • England: Bad luck, old boy.

    Spain: -:c

  • @AngelSammy found it! Thank you!!:)

  • @clarabelle1able My Name is Lincoln is the name of the track. It's borrowed from the movie The Island. Composed by Steve Jablonski who also composed the score for both Transformers movie and the up coming new one I believe.
