Turbo Del Sol, In-Car accelerating

Hey guys, went out for a little drive and threw the camera in the car with me, this is a little short clip of my Turbo Del Sol accelerating into traffic. Car has a B18C Swap with a turbonetics turbo kit at 7PSI (was 5PSI in the video, this was before I replaced the old deltagate with a Tial wastegate and 7PSI spring) But anyway, here is my Cardomain page for full info on the car if anyone cares to check it out:

how much hp can reach a "stock moter" b16a2 175hp,,if i put turbo?

@oliegr There's no precise number but you could make 220-275 at the tire pretty safely and daily drive it, install a block guard and you could push 300+. Just make sure the motor is healthy and it is tuned professionally on a good Fuel management unit and it will be reliable. My car was tuned by CFT and ran on that tune for 5 years, then had it retuned by Humble performance at 7psi on hondata and been running it for 2 years and it still runs perfectly, bone stock motor with 75k miles.

@chivasx90 like 95TurboSol said if the z6 is healthy it's well possible. Oil consumption is a bit of a problem with the z6 but don't worry about breaking the engine. It holds boost reasonable. Up to 200-220hp is safe with a t3/t4 turbo. With the z6 you want the turbo to hit in at mid to high revs. If you want early boost you might want to consider some internal upgrades on the engine.

@96mason96 How many miles? 93 Del sol S models with 130k miles blue book at around 1k-1200 bucks. What kind of Turbo kit? if it's a great name brand kit it may add 1k in value to the car at best, and a D16 block you can find under 500 bucks. So at best your looking at 2700 in value unless there is a bunch of other high cost mods on the car, so I would say no it's not a very good deal, you can find 95+ del sols with B18C1 swaps for that price, then from there you can turbo it.

@95TurboSol im looking at buying a 1993 turbo del sol it is on the stock d15 and comes a d16z6 block for 4200 and am wondering what you think about the price

@chivasx90 How many miles on the d16? Also have you compression or leak down tested it? If it is a healthy engine it should hold up just fine, you'll pick up 50-75hp on something like a greddy kit and it's safe on the motor if it's healthy. You can pick up turbo kits under 1k. For engine swaps, B18B is the cheapest at around 800-1500 or so, they only make 142hp stock but they take boost very well, you can boost a stock one well over 250hp pretty safely and they make great torque.
