I heard on twitter that the Occupy Oakland vigil was being raided by riot cops. I headed down there with a camera and FlipCam to document this event.
When I arrived I saw most everything had been cleared, so I walked toward a group of cops, stopped 25 feet from them and snapped a picture.
One call tells me to step back. I said "okay, but where should I step back to".
The video continues from there....
I had been in the plaza for 2 minutes and had taken one photo when I was arrested for absolutely no valid reason.

So according to you LordAeradon the person was not following the order of that pig in riot gear. the video clearly shows the person filming was in fact obeying the order given by the pig to "get back"and when did asking a cop to clearly point out the police line become a "smart-ass" question?. So in the bay area we are no longer allowed to ask the police to clearly define "police lines" or a "boundary"..wtf?
Yet the cops wounder why we do not trust them..

@BuildingCastlesMusic In New London, Connecticut they refused to hire a 125 IQ police officer candidate because he was too smart. A court upheld it, saying that the police discriminated equally against all smart job applicants. Unbelievable, but true. I can't seem to post a link, but google it.
