That brought tears to my eyes. We had a dog that did just the same even when her master had to move away without her, she would sit and wait for him. I don't think she ever stopped waiting.

yes the dog is for sure waiting for the dad. look up the story of Hachiko the dog from Japan. The story will make you cry. They made a movie of it and all. Hachiko is an Akita.
