Guns - Switzerland has something to teach us about the 2nd amendment

Instead of a large standing army Switzerland gives its citizens military training and requires them to keep their weapon in their homes when they return to civilian life. This means that the Swiss can assemble to defend their country on a moment's notice. Very few people are stupid enough to attempt burglary in a country like that, and their government knows not to try abusing its power.

The United States Government has called its citizen militia the enemy, which worries us a lot about keeping our liberty. The Patriot act destroyed our 4th Amendment. Now as of December 1st our Senate passed a bill that would allow the military and any other federal organizations to detain any American citizen without Constitutional rights and hold them without trial or due process as an enemy combatant. All in the name of security & fighting terror .Hold onto your militia Swiss.

Once you have STARTED the silly mistake of legalising gun ownership........your country is FUCKED. The good and bad both will hv guns. And after decades pass by......no one is going to surrender their guns. The numbnuts need guns to do harm, and the normal numbnuts need guns for protection.

That's why, the US is such a dangerous place to live in......where you need guns to protect yourselves.

Don't compare Switzerland to the USA.

Worlds apart.

America is loaded with MILLIONS of uneducated and homeless.

46million in poverty and on foodstamps, the country is in financial trouble, serious unemployment, and a lousy education system. MILLIONS of violent Niggers roaming the streets, serious crime, ...compared to Switzerland.

Switzerland:

high-quality people brought up in a high-quality fashion.

Rational, matured, financially secure and leading a very high std of living.

Now we are here talking about how free and protected the Swiss are. And "somebody" has to make a comment about a "group" of ppl like they attached at the hip, or somethin. Hate amongst each other got us into trying to be a rightless no constitution country. If we were more concerned about the serious manipulation and what's going on around us, u wouldn't have time to hate or talk about anybody. I don't know what they thought? Switzerland is an amazing country with an amazing culture, I really admire it. But most of all, I admire the spirit and strength of the Swiss people, and their power to defend themselves. They have created some fantastic weapons, and I believe their ideals shine in their rifles. Cultures like Switzerland make me proud to be a gun enthusiast (as well as an American studying the German language).
