- Was Israel's secret service behind the unexplained hijacking of a Russian freighter, to foil a secret attempt to ship cruise missiles to Iran? The mystery surrounding the hijacking of a Russian freighter in July has taken a new twist with reports claiming the pirates were acting in league with the Mossad in order to halt a shipment of modern weapon systems hidden on board and destined for the Islamic republic. While Israeli and Russian officials dismissed the reports, accounts published in the Russian media sounded more like a spy thriller than a commercial hijacking. The Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta reported over the weekend that the vessel Arctic Sea had been carrying x-55 cruise missiles and S300 anti-aircraft rockets hidden in secret compartments among its cargo of timber and sawdust. - A general close to the investigation into the mysterious voyage of the Arctic Sea has told a Russian newspaper that he suspected the ship was carrying a secret cargo of illegal weapons, as many conspiracy theorists have suggested. The newspaper, Komsomolskaya Pravda, interviewed what it described as a senior general in the Russian Navy who had been close to the investigation. The general said that he knew far more than he could say openly at this stage, but his testimony, if genuine, represents the first concrete information to come out of the investigation, which has been shrouded in mystery. He said the theory that the ship might have been carrying drugs was excluded from the beginning, but that the investigation had focussed on a possible weapons shipment, in particular S-300 or X-55 missiles bound for Iran, and sold by a "weapons mafia" involving top Russian officials but operating outside of the law. Russia and Iran have a common sea. The Caspian Sea. Russia may use the Caspian Sea as a transport corridor for the shipments to Iran. Other ways to help us do not need. If Russia will deliver nuclear weapons to Iran, it will be a surprise for you:)

racist Israel gets all weapons for free from USA and is using them against palestinian civilians, Libanese and all its neighbours. It has nuclear weapon, biological and chemical weapons too. Why the international community allows Israel, which had commited more crimes than the rest of the world put together and has never respected any UN laws, to carry on being super armed and prevent all the states that Israel treatens to have defencive weapons?

The whole story:

Iran tried to circumvent the official agreement with Russia. Acquire weapons of factors in the Russian army without the knowledge of the Kremlin. Weapons that Russia does not agree to sell to Iran.

Israeli intelligence reported Russian authorities on the smuggling of missiles. Russian intelligence staged kidnapping. Ship and of course the weapons were returned.
