Maggie examines a patient with bilateral trachoma. Just as a note, Maggie knew she was coming down with malaria that day (every rainy season she gets it) and she is still here doing her AMAZING job, despite for sure feeling tired. There was no doctor at the eye clinic for 3 years before Dr. Wanye came (at a Tamale hospital, the only referal hosopital in the Northern region, that serves a population of over 2 million) so the opthalmic nurses did all of the diagnosing, prescribing, and surgeries needed. They are so well trained and AMAZING
